New long term care beds

On Monday, Minister of Health and Long-Term Care Eric Hoskins announced a new, 128-bed long term care (LTC) home in Havelock. The new home will be part of the Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen’s plan to create a campus of care.

The Minister also announced that the Ministry is now accepting applications for 5,000 new LTC beds over the next four years. He encouraged existing or new LTC organizations to apply for new beds in their communities.
