Auscul-X allows nurses and other healthcare professionals to listen to a resident’s heart and lungs remotely. Ideal for residents with suspected COVID-19, Auscul-X consists of six sensors worn by the patient for up to three days at a time, connected to an in-room Control Unit. The Control Unit is capable of transmitting the sounds of the heart and lungs to authorized healthcare professionals via a wireless network, enabling better care for the resident through increased monitoring capability, while also enabling healthcare professionals to stay safe by reducing their exposure to COVID-19 positive residents.
