Amer Mustafa is a senior executive in the field of Managed IT Services. Having worked for over 30 years in the IT services industry, he has played an instrumental role in the development and evolution of Indusflow Systems.
During the 1990’s when Indusflow was involved in IT training and operated as a private career college, Amer was developing curriculum for and teaching cutting-edge courses to both corporate and individual students. During this time, he developed in-depth expertise in computer networking, software development and database administration. Over time, Amer went from developing and delivering course content to managing a faculty of trainers and teaching assistants as they prepared students for careers in the IT field as well as re-tooled IT skills for companies who needed their IT staff trained in emerging technologies.
Training and education turned into implementation and consulting during the early 2000’s after the IT training market fell apart and Indusflow pivoted from training to services. IT services and consulting transformed into Managed IT Services in 2010 when Amer helped changed the services paradigm at Indusflow from a reactive to a proactive model. In more recent years, Amer has led the push to expand Indusflow’s footprint across the globe to other regions of the world including LATAM and APAC.
Over his professional career, Amer has provided solutions as well as education in all major technology developments since the days of DOS all the way to the era of artificial intelligence. In his current role at Indusflow, Amer oversees all aspects of IT services and delivery as well as bringing new and innovative products and services to Indusflow’s customers in the areas of cybersecurity, business continuity, workplace efficiency, automation and compliance. Along the way, Amer has had the opportunity to work and volunteer in diverse areas including teaching, coaching, mediation/ADR, international development and restorative justice.
