Join us to explore the global trends in smart buildings and digital workplaces for senior living that will transform how staff and residents connect and engage. Uncover opportunities for Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Sensors, and Service robots to streamline operations, reduce the burden on your staff, and help you save time and money that can be reallocated to resident care.
Technology investments are an important part of transforming any organization; ensuring those technologies are easy to use, integrated and impactful takes planning and specialized skills. AI, IoT, sensors and robots are hot topics among the dizzying array of technology options available in the market today. Do you know which ones are right for you? How can you prioritize the 'best' options for your community? How will you find the staff time and funding to test and implement the chosen solution(s)?
Attendees will leave the webinar with a clear understanding of how innovative technologies are being used to enhance eldercare around the world and here in Canada. By attending this session, members will be empowered to develop a technology adoption plan that provides a roadmap to smarter, connected senior living. The speakers will also share a simple yet powerful IDEA framework for improving the success of technology deployments:
- Inspire stakeholders to imagine a future state for your organization, explore options and new ideas, set goals
- Design technology solutions that align business goals, budget and perceived value
- Engage staff, residents, family members and suppliers to learn, test, give feedback and validate
- Achieve desired results, measure, monitor and adjust to ensure improved outcomes
Of note, the Ontario government recently announced their Integrated Technology Solutions (ITS) Funding program for long-term care licensees with a DFA. This 2-year program is available now to help eligible residences make investments in technology and digital solutions that enhance medication safety systems and provide quality care services. Creating a formal technology adoption plan will help leadership teams optimize their investments and maximize the impact of this new funding.
