We are pleased to present this free, members-only session to share insights on falls reduction research.

The health and economic impacts of falls among older adults are substantial and rising, yet interventions to reduce their incidence can be complex and expensive. Attend this free session and discover promising new evidence for the use of low-cost dynamic lighting to dramatically cut the number of falls among residents.

< Learn the science behind the physiological effects of light, including its influence on alertness, cognitive function, mood, sleep and regulation of our circadian clock.
< Hear details about a clinical trial into the impact of dynamic lighting -- alternating between blue-enriched white light through the day and blue-depleted white light at night -- and how this measure reduced falls by 43 per cent.
< Understand how dynamic lighting works as an effective, passive, low-cost, low-burden fall-reduction intervention.
