If you are responsible for purchasing products and services for your long-term care home, you will undoubtedly have noticed the rapid increase in prices in the past few years. These increases are impacting everything from food, to supplies, to equipment, and more.
 
On Tuesday, October 3, join Uzair Chaudhry and Shona Connolly to better understand what is driving these increases. They will share their insights on inflation and commodity prices, and dive into what is happening in global supply chain markets. They will also provide you with practical tips, ideas, and insights to help you more effectively manage the impact of inflation on your operations and budget.

Cancellations: Cancellations will be accepted up to five working days prior to the date of the program less a 15% administration fee that will apply regardless of the status of payment. Uzair Chaudhry, Vice President- Supply Chain Canada, Complete Purchasing Services,

Uzair Chaudhry leads the procurement and supply chain team for all of Aramark’s lines of business and group purchasing organizations in Canada. His team manages relationships with over 400 manufacturers, service providers and distribution partners. Uzair joined Aramark in 2017 prior to which he spent almost 20 years working in multiple industries in varying supply chain leadership roles, including retail, distribution, pharmacy, manufacturing, and food services. Uzair has a Bachelors and Masters in Engineering from the University of Toronto and an MBA from Wilfred Laurier University. He is also a member on the GS1 Carenet Healthcare Board, which aims to help healthcare organizations respond to supply chain challenges and improve the quality, efficiency and, most importantly, safety of the healthcare sector as a whole


Shona Connolly, Senior Director, Supply Chain Program Management, Complete Purchasing Services

Shona Connolly is the Senior Director, Program Management and joined the Aramark Canada Supply Chain team in 2018. She is currently responsible for the analytics team that drives insights to support Aramark’s procurement team and uncovers opportunities for Complete Purchasing Services members. Prior to working at Aramark, she worked in various roles in supply chain in both manufacturing and retail organizations. Shona graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Applied Science, Chemical Engineering.
