Statement by Lisa Levin, CEO of AdvantAge Ontario:

“We are pleased to see meaningful investments in supports that help older adults earlier in their care journey and ease pressure on long-term care and hospitals. This reflects what we and our members have been calling for, and we’re encouraged to see government responding to these priorities. At the same time, we welcome the continued focus on supporting Ontario’s long-term care system. Today’s budget reflects progress. We recognize the efforts being made in a challenging fiscal environment. We look forward to working with government to build on these measures to ensure seniors can access the right care, in the right place, at the right time.”
