Free, Members-Only Webinar
LTC redevelopment is complex—especially for not-for-profit homes balancing competing priorities, limited capacity and major financial and operational decisions.
Whether you rely on external expertise or an internal team, knowing what to expect can help set your project up for success.
In this practical webinar, Dennis Donovan will share lessons from LTC redevelopment projects, walk through the key stages and highlight often-overlooked considerations, including:
- Organizing your new build or redevelopment project and establishing the right project team
- Understanding total project costs, including what to include in your budget and sample costing
- Navigating project funding, commercial mortgages and valuations
- Understanding timelines from project inception through to substantial completion
- Preparing and navigating Ministry of Long-Term Care (MLTC) submissions and requirements
- Monitoring and reporting on costs once the project is underway, including managing unexpected expenses
- Planning for occupancy and the transition to funding
This webinar will be particularly useful for long-term care homes that are in the early stages of planning a renovation, redevelopment or new build project.
