Cannabis
Developed in partnership with DDO Health Law and Medisystem Pharmacy, the AdvantAge Ontario Cannabis Toolkit will help health care professionals in long term care homes and other residential health settings to navigate the comprehensive legal framework that applies to medical cannabis. The updated toolkit lays out the legal framework, risk management strategies and considerations, and rules related to appropriate accommodation of recreational and medical cannabis in senior care settings. Two policy templates are also included.
Note
The toolkit is for informational purposes only and is not intended as legal or professional advice. Organizations with questions about statutory obligations and compliance are advised to seek their own legal or professional advice based on their particular circumstances.
